The Role Of Photography

A visual recording of history.

To educate and inform, to record and preserve moments in time for generations to come, a method of keeping and sharing memories, illustrating different people, life styles, cultures and places in war and peace, to provoke emotional feelings and perhaps change things, to advertise a way of life most people can only dream of, to show people that there are always others worse off than themselves, to illustrate there is cruelty in the world and to show the happiness that exists also.

There are so many ways that photography plays a role in our society and I am privileged to be a photographer who makes a small contribution to the ongoing world wide desire for meaningful and memorable images.

Sadly, Nick has now passed away.

This website remains as a tribute to his creativeness and professionalism with the hope that it will be an inspiration to photographers around the world.
